Sports canyoning in the Sierra de Guara

Real Mecca of the canyoning activities, the Sierra de Guara, in Aragon, reveals canyons that require endurance and
sustained physical efforts. The Compania de Guara offers a sports holiday, a real festival of sensations, to give you
the opportunity to discover the most renowned descents of the Sierra de Guara following the rhythm of waterfalls and
overhanging abseils/rappels.
- Difficulty level : hard, sustained efforts and endurance required.
- Meals : Cold but sophisticated menus for lunch, food ration packs. Breakfast and dinner in the lodging.
- Rucksack : pic-nic and collective gear.
- Transport : your own vehicle.
D1 : Welcome in Rodellar. Settling in the lodging, we will hand the canyoning gear to you. First abseil/rappel. First canyon.
D2 : Barranco de Cueva Cabrito or barranco Fondo. A sequence of abseil/rappels on « pudding stone » cliffs will take you to the narrow Balcès canyon.
D3 : Barranco of Otin or Superior Mascun : an unforgettable spectacle under the majestic flight of the vultures. A sporty and grandiose canyon.
D4 : Gorgas Negras canyon. The most aquatic one, the sportiest too .A long day (between 10 and 11 hours)
D5 : Canyon of Portiacha and transition in a sporty way to the more classical and one of the most beautiful canyons ; the Rio Vero : jumps, walks, reaches, passing through karstic gorges, siphons, waterfalls…
D6 : Canyon of la Peonera. A very aquatic descent in fabulous « karsts », series of jumps, waterfalls, reaches in the most spectacular and breathtaking part of this canyon.
D7 : Dispersion après le petit-déjeuner.
